If you’ve ever bought a watch and been disappointed by a hidden flaw that you didn’t know about, you probably know the importance of educating yourself about watches before you buy. This is why I write about watches and because I love them! Today I’m going to talk to you about the Bulova 96D10 watch, listing the good and the bad so you can make an informed decision.
First of all I’ve got to talk about the looks. Visually, this watch is stunning; with a jet black background offset brilliantly with the silver case and sparkle of the diamonds. Keeping it simple like this is a great way to improve the visibility of a watch. There’s nothing worse than a watch you have to squint to be able to read, especially if your eyes are as bad as mine! Another thing in particular I like about the design is the finish of the dial background. If you look closely, you’ll be able to see that it looks like the blades of a helicopter that are spinning rapidly into a blur. It really is a small little touch that makes a big overall difference to the watch and a great example of why this watch is so popular.
Now with the good, inevitably comes the bad. There are two things I don’t like about this watch and they are the dial and the adjustment knob. The dial is made out of mineral which as far as scratch resistance go is middle of the road. It’s outclassed by sapphire which is actually completely scratch proof unless cut by a diamond. So that’s a tick in the negative category. As well as this, the adjustment knob is a little too small for my liking, s small flaw but one that needs mentioning none the less. It’s annoying to have to fiddle and slip around a tiny knob that’s hard to adjust. I guess on the positive side, this watch is using Japanese-quartz movement so you won’t have to adjust the time much at all as this is a very accurate watch engine.
All in all I think this watch is a great buy. If you purchase the Bulova 96D10 watch online, you’ll be able to save a heap of money. It will probably suit someone looking for a classy watch for social occasions or someone just looking for a classy and good looking casual watch. People who won’t like this watch are probably looking for more features like a chronograph, date etc. Whatever your decision I think it’s always important to try and invision what the watch will look like on your wrist and whether you like it or you love it?
