The answer is make sure that you don’t waste too much time trying to find the perfect stool, because it doesn’t exist. You are just going to have to grab one that sticks out and make that your choice. Definitely easier said than done but something I have become much better at over the last few years. I used to spend days deliberating the smallest purchase, until I realized that basically all we need most of the time if a design that looks reasonably good and does the job intended. I’m not just talking about kitchen bar stools here either, I try to take this approach as much as possible these days as we seem to be inundated with far too much choice in every area of our lives and its not making things any easier.

So if you are on the lookout for a nice set of funky kitchen stools and you thing you are tangling yourself up in a web of unnecessary creations you need to take a stand. Quickly narrow down your search one specific shop. If you only have one superstore in your area this is easy, but if you are buying online you need to be strict. Find a store that has a decent range at fair prices and do your browsing there.

Remember what you need from a kitchen bar stool. It should have the ability to prop you up at the kitchen bar, it should look somewhat attractive ( a bit like your wife ), and if should be cheap enough that you can afford it ( also like your wife ). Everything else is extraneous.
