I’m always looking out for new ideas which will allow me I can stamp my own personal taste on the decor of my house. At the same time I like to have furniture which is functional as well as beautiful which means I sometimes means I have to make sacrifices as items which look great and do exactly what you need can often cost far too much for my bank managers comfort.

Sometimes however you can manage to find a product that really stands out from the crowd in that it looks fantastic, is easily affordable, and also proves to be functionally useful. The futon mattress bed is one such product and its one that I am extremely to have in my living room. I bought my 3 seat wooden futon for the measly sum of £100 from an Internet shop in the UK and I can say with confidence that it has been the best value piece of furniture I have yet to buy.

For the money I got a sofa that is really comfortable to sit on and this is the function it provides most of the time. But when I have a guest stying over it quickly flips down and converts into a very effective bed, you can’t ask for any more that.

You can certainly find low quality futons from certain retailers but if you get advice and manage to find a good shop you can pick something up for very little money, and its an item that you will be using for years.
