Recent research suggests that someone dies from smoking related diseases every eight seconds and the World Heath Organisation actually go as far to say that one in ten adults will die from smoking. Scary statistics when all added up because this will end up affecting four million people on an annual basis. That should be reason enough to give up smoking, but we all know how hard it can be. There is one method that has higher success rates than average and that is stop smoking hypnosis.

By using hypnosis to try and give up smoking you can hopefully go on to embark on a healthy lifestyle. Hypnotherapy is nothing to be in fear of, and there are thousands of people currently trying this program, and a high proportion of them are succeeding. It works very simply and is a pleasant and effective method to help you quit. The hypnotherapist will work on altering your thinking within your subconscious. This will in turn motivate you to give up cigarettes. Of course, you will always need a degree of self-motivation, so unless you are one hundred percent committed to quitting then you should not try stop smoking hypnosis – it is not, and never will be a miracle cure.

The benefits to giving up smoking are clear. You will soon rapidly discover that your sense of smells and taste improve, plus of course you will feel more energetic and lively. If you do succeed with stop smoking hypnosis then we would recommend that you embark on a physical fitness program in order to give yourself something to focus on and also letting you take advantage of your improved breathing and respiration.

Some people have given up smoking and started up weight training in order to build up the muscle. Others have even supplemented this with the best Creatine supplement products on the market because they are so determined to lead a new life. If you can give up smoking you will be amazed at the renewed vigour and zest that you have.

Stop smoking hypnosis is not a dubious practice. It really does work for some people, and will help you to change your deeply held addictions to nicotine and smoking. It is all related to your subconscious and opening it up to new ideas. If a hypnotherapist can open your mind like this then they will be able to plant and suggest new and healthier ways of living, one of which will be to turn your back on smoking tobacco products. It might not be for everyone, but if you have tried and failed with other quit methods such as e cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapies then stop smoking by hypnosis could be the method you have been looking for.

Back in the 1970s when the news was first released about cigarettes being harmful to our health people really were not surprised. It really should not have taken all of those billions of dollars to determine that smokers have not got the same physical capabilities as a non smoker. The longer someone smokes the less energy they have and less freely they can breathe. Some smokers will still say there is nothing wrong though, even after watching people die for many years from smoking, and blame the health problems on something stupid like air pollution or something along those lines. Tobacco smoking is known to be one of the top three killers in the world and one of the top two in the United States.

There have been a number of attempts to make smokeless cigarettes but many of these have been met with failure. The thinking behind smokeless cigarettes is that your addiction is to nicotine, not to the many other chemicals that we find in cigarettes. The first product to be successful at not only being effective at delivering nicotine but also tasting like a cigarette was the electronic cigarette which was first sold in China in 2006. These artificial cigarettes look just like a normal cigarette in most cases and they also cut out all of the chemicals going into our bodies other than nicotine. This is done by heating a liquid nicotine solution so that it turns into a fine vapor ready to be inhaled. This vapor will only leave the E cigarette when you inhale so it is not going to effect anyone that is around you when you smoke.

Does this mean that smokeless cigarettes are safe? They are not entirely safe. You still inhale nicotine which is a poison that stops the brain from producing the chemicals it needs to function. This is the main reason why you will be addicted to nicotine. E cigarettes are however safer to use than regular cigarettes or other forms or tobacco. Because you are not inhaling all of the other toxins they are quite a bit less harmful to your body, plus they could be used as a stop smoking aid if you buy cartridges that progressively lower in nicotine content.

You will no doubt be aware of the dangers that come with smoking, but if you class yourself as a chain smoker then you will no doubt find it very hard to stop yourself from smoking, even if you want to. Although it is going to be really hard, you should know that if you have the determination to stop then you can definitely do it.

Smoking cessation devices were introduced to the world in the early 1980s, but today there are still over one billion people smoking. So this means that about one person in every eight is putting thousands of harmful chemicals in their bodies everyday and in turn taking years off of their lives. And because of all of these new stop smoking programs that are being pushed by our governments, smoking has been banned in pretty much every public space, and also, the price of tobacco has more than tripled over the last 15 or 20 years. The issue of smoking is particularly bad in countries like the UK where they have a socialized health service. Smokers and the illnesses that come with smoking are causing government to have huge headaches because of the budget problems that they create, they can even lead to non smokers losing out on health care because of the huge costs involved in treating smoking related conditions.

There is now a product available, the E cigarette, that could be a solutions to some of these problems. Rather than burning tobacco and inhaling those thousands of dangerous chemicals all you inhale with an electronic cigarette is a water based nicotine solution. E cigarettes are also quite a bit cheaper than tobacco. They are in fact so much cheaper that there are some people who are saving as much as 80% on their smoking bill every month.

As I mentioned above these smokeless cigarettes do not contain all of the harmful chemicals that tobacco does, they only contain one, nicotine. So this means you only put one chemical in your body. Since they do not burn anything there are no second hand fumes given off that can harm people around you, this means they can be used in bars , restaurants and even at your work. Finally, even though they may not be advertised as such, you could use an E cigarette as a stop smoking aid, they can be just as effective as many of the other nicotine replacement devices on the market. When you use an E cigarette you are going to be able to get your nicotine fix and also gradually reduce it and at the same time you are going to have something in your hands, which a lot of quitters miss.

The most frequently asked question by those who smoke and are contemplating switching to an e cig is a funny one: “is it safe to use an e cig instead of tobacco?” To answer, let’s be practical. If you are a smoker, as I was for the past 10 years, and every time you reach for a cigarette you see the warning on the package that says “smoking kills” or other such enticing slogans, then you already know that what you inhale each day is dangerous, that nicotine is not a healthy or safe substance, and yet despite all that, you continue to do it. Hoping that someone will officially state that that choosing an alternate way to introduce nicotine into your body is safe will probably not happen. It is up to you to decide if inhaling toxic tobacco smoke with nicotine, or inhaling nicotine vapor, is how you wish to get your dose, without anyone else’s seal of approval.

E Cigarette Facts

Here are the facts: an e cigarette is a new concept and the long-term effects or benefits of using an electronic cigarette versus tobacco are unknown. Just how new are e cigs? Well they were only developed in 2003 in Beijing, later becoming the baby of a company called Golden Dragon Group and then further developed by Ruyan in 2004, marketed only in China and not even brought to Europe until 2006, and the media only took notice in early 2007. Since then , about 300 million people have tried the e-cigarette, and many personal stories reflect that some of these people have noticed an improvement in their overall health. However, the use of them is still largely untested in a clinical environment.

Are E Cigarettes Endorsed by the WHO?

No. But then neither are cigarettes. They are not an officially recognized means to quit smoking by the WHO or by the Electronic Cigarette Association, but that does not take away from the fact that, on an individual level, many people have used them to minimize their nicotine intake and feel better, some have even given up the habit and use vapor without nicotine at all.

What does the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the USA say?

It’s not surprising that they are not in favor. Why? Because they fear an endorsement may cause young people to take up smoking using e cigarettes. That is a valid concern and may justify the FDA not endorsing the product, but please take into account that if someone smokes a pack a day and inhales copious amounts of tobacco smoke and nicotine, and then chooses to switch to an electronic cigarette, this is an entirely different picture than someone who is young and innocent and may be about to take up the habit. The benefits experienced by a long time addict making a switch may be quickly noticeable. Logically, it is unwise to recommend that a young person begin to smoke, be it with a vaporized e cig or a tobacco cigarette. So consider why it is not endorsed by the WHO or approved by the FDA and then decide if you, as a regular smoker, would like to try making the switch.
